The Countdown to Build My Future Brown County is on!
What is Build My Future?
Build My Future Brown County is an interactive event giving students the opportunity to explore the skilled trades through hands-on activities, simulations, and games, while connecting directly with local industry professionals. This year’s event will also feature the Welding Rodeo.
Our goal is to engage local high school students and spark early interest in the trades, helping build a strong pipeline of future workers. Students can explore in-demand career paths, discover new opportunities, and connect with local employers, giving them a meaningful head start on their future.
In 2026, we expect nearly 1,000 local high school students to attend. Already, 40+ employers have signed up to exhibit, including organizations like DeLeers Construction, Holtger Brothers, Miller Electric, Miron, RG Hendricks Concrete, Valley Cabinet and more.
We look forward to partnering with you to inspire future builders and tradespeople!
