Wisconsin Residential Energy Code Review – Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
This 1-hour session will concentrate on the residential energy conservation requirements of Chapter SBS322 as written in the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code. The presentation will be a high-level review of the currently adopted residential energy code and amendments. Register Here
Wisconsin Commercial Energy Code Review – Tuesday, December 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
During this 1-hour session, a review of the current Wisconsin Commercial Energy Code, Chapter SPS363 will be presented. This will be an overview of the currently adopted commercial energy code and amendments. Register Here

Wisconsin Builders Foundation Launches New, 4-Credit Continuing Education Course for Dwelling Contractor Qualifiers
In partnership with On3 Field Learning, the Wisconsin Builders Foundation has launched a newly created 4-credit online course that will satisfy the new continuing education requirements for Dwelling Contractor Qualifiers. Due to a recent law change, anyone renewing their DCQ credential will be required four of the 12 required credits in subject matter that includes construction laws and codes and contracts, liability, and risk management.
To register for the course, members or non-members can simply click the “Register” button below. Members of record can access this course free of charge by entering the promo code provided on this page at checkout; note: WBA member login will be required to access this page. The course is available to non-members for $55.00. Your DCQ number will also be required at the time of registration.
Directions:

2. Complete the required information and payment on checkout page (reminder to members of record to enter the promo code for free registration)
3. You will receive a confirmation that you have been registered. At this time, please watch your inbox – and spam folder – for an email from On3. Note: it may take up to 48 hours if registering on the weekend.
4. Follow the instructions in the email and complete the online learning (from smart phone, tablet, web browser, etc.) with 30 days
5. After you have passed the course with a 70%, WBF will receive confirmation of your exam from On3 and will submit your credits to DSPS!

WBA Foundation Classes Online – FREE Continuing Ed Courses Now Available
The WB Foundation offers online continuing education credits for holders of Wisconsin’s Dwelling Contractor credentials through its partnership with Slipstream and the B4 Conference.
These courses are designed to fulfill Wisconsin’s continuing education requirements for dwelling contractors (12 credit hours every two years), and are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS). To access the free member benefit, follow the instructions below.
- Create a free account to get access to these trainings.
- After completing the registration form, check your email for your invitation to Coassemble. You only need to register once!
- After you’re in, you can browse the courses alphabetically or search by title.
- View course, pass quiz, and Slipstream will submit your information to DSPS for license renewal!
Another great feature through this new software is that the webinar, evaluation, and quiz are all in one place, so you don’t need to look for links in confirmation emails; all of the information is packaged together for each course. Once you pass the quiz, the course completion certificate appears on the screen (you no longer need to wait for the hosting organization to create and send it). You can also log into your account at any time to see their grades and progress for these 19 courses.
